After being part of the Kenya safari Expeditions and growing the Kenyan tourism now we have expanded our services to the vast lands of East Africa.

In Nov/Dec 2022 we spent another 4 weeks in East Africa. For myself this was the 3th time I travelled through Kenya, second through Tanzania. All my trips have been wonderfully prepared and arranged.
Car hire with driver
We booked a classic Landcruiser hire with driver-guide through 4×4 selfrive offroad safaris for a two week loop around Kenya. Our guide chris was a truly wonderful person to travel the country with. He was energetic, friendly, knowledgeable, and his love for the country, its landscapes, and people came through in all of his stories. Although the roads throughout much of the country are not paved, I would think self-drive would have been fine too. We found a guide helpful and it took the burden of planning off of us.
We are not campers, the mid-range lodges we stayed in (mostly those recommended by 4×4 self-drive) were wonderful. Peter from offroad safaris helped us create a trip within our budget, the whole trip was much less expensive than the packages we received from other companies.
Uganda exceeded our expectations on every front. The landscapes are breathtaking, the people are genuinely warm and friendly, the food was great, and we saw just about every animal we wished to see on safari. I would definitely recommend Uganda as a destination for those looking to safari in East Africa without as many of the crowds.

I explored Kenya on my own in a fantastic 4×4 Landrover Defender I hired from this company. The prices are pocket friendly, and the jeep was in perfect condition for self-drive through the wild Amboseli and Tsavo National Park and amazing Diani Beach. where the car was collected in Mombasa National Airport.
Apparently the defenders from this company are dust on offroad and deliver the best out of your safari. In Tsavo we had and issue with the car not starting Ritchard was quick to respond and gladly it was a battery loose terminal from the bumpy road. upon fixing the vehicle cranked like a baby.

Tanzania was a vast and incredible country all the places to visit and the journey was long and somehow tiring. The ford ranger was delivered to us in dar es salaam we took it through Mikumi national Park, Ngorongoro crater Serengeti National Park and finally there in Kenya here we liked it from the moment of border crossing. Are Off-roads dangerous
Off roads are perfectly safe and most accidents occur due to over-speeding. Take your time and do not drive over the speed limit. Not all gravel roads are the same and you need to adjust your driving in some cases. Most importantly take your time and do not rush or try to drive too far in one day.
